New York Liberty (-7) @ Indiana Fever (+230) | O/U 172.5 (-110/-110)
Neither of these teams averaged this number last season with the Fever averaging game totals of 166.1 last season and the Liberty averaging 165.0. Additionally, neither team’s season openers came within seven points of this total with the Fever’s matchup with Connecticut totaling 163 and the Liberty’s opener in Washington, D.C. finished at 165.
Even the high-powered matchup between the Aces and Mercury on Tuesday night opened up at this number before coming down and that game was the highest scoring game that night at 169. That’s how inflated this number is. Only one of the six games so far this season have gone over this total and that game hit 173 on the dot and I don’t expect this game to change that.
Take advantage of this number before it comes down and take the Under all the way down to 168/168.5 as only one game has even touched 170 yet.
